A snapshot of a few events around town as well as a look at some of our coolest neighbors. If you'd like to contribute, get in touch with me directly (see my info at who/what/why), I'd love to collaborate!
Emily, thank you so much for setting some time aside in your busy life to do this interview with me! Emily is an incredibly talented and accomplished interior designer who studied at CU, took her talents to New York and LA (where she’s from), and has finally come back to Colorado to build her brand, Emily Tucker Design.
We had such a fun night at Zeppelin Station last Friday night for the Denver x Portland panel discussion and 90’s dance party! This discussion was in support of the Made in Portland pop up at Zeppelin station featuring the best “makers” currently out of Portland.
Hellooooo Crystal! Thanks so much for taking time out of your super busy schedule to let me interview you! Everyone, if you don’t know Crystal Renee Lee, founder and designer of her name sake brand, C.R.Lee, you will soon. This Denver based fashion designer is making moves both locally and internationally. I was so happy to visit her studio to get to know her better!
I was totally blown away by Tara Donovan’s show at the MCA, and the opening party last Friday night was amazing! It really felt like the most exciting way to kick off the fall season and get inspired. Everyone was turned OUT.
Last weekend I had such a great time checking out the Crush Walls in RiNo. Once again, I’m so excited and impressed with whats happening in and around Denver. This year’s Crush Walls was exponentially bigger than the previous ones I’ve attended. It was particularly amazing to see Laura Krudener painting the exterior of her gallery.
If you don’t already know Rachel Lefort, let me introduce you to her! She is one of my dearest friends, my neighbor and an incredibly talented stylist with a long history in the fashion industry. Rachel has recently been hand selected as one of Denver’s top stylists and has partnered with Cherry Creek for their ongoing styling sessions.
A few weeks ago, I had the good fortune of meeting blogger Cara Newhart from Never Skip Brunch and founder of My Haute Society, at a tasting event. She has recently launched a podcast on her site and asked me to come on and do an interview for the podcast about my background and experience as a fashion designer.
Hey Allison! Thanks for sitting down with me and chatting about the Mama'hood mission, the store and your plans! For my readers that don’t know, I’m a mom to two boys, so when the opportunity to interview the founders of this amazing resource came my way, I was happy to dive in.
Last Thursday I had the good fortune of attending the Metta Society Denver mingle with my gal pal Courtney Parker. It was such a gorgeous summer evening and the event was filled with amazing women interested business, as the theme was The Art of Starting a Business.
