A snapshot of a few events around town as well as a look at some of our coolest neighbors. If you'd like to contribute, get in touch with me directly (see my info at who/what/why), I'd love to collaborate!
Last Friday night the lovely ladies at Prim Communications invited me to a preview of the opening of the Mirus Gallery over in the Golden Triangle. I was lucky enough to get my gal pal Danette Stuckey to come along with me for the evening.
I had the good fortune to snag a ticket to the Recycled Runway 9 fundraiser at the Boulder Theater on the 10th. It was sooooo great- so much talent from such young people! I was totally inspired by the thought process, creativity and the final product that these young designers each put together.
I had a great time at ATC DEN gallery on their opening night for artist Xi Zhang. His haunting and ethereal paintings are striking and so unique. There was a great crowd at the gallery, despite the cold and wet weather outside.
On April 4th, I headed out with Nancy Clarissa Updike of ABitLovely to see Jim Howard talk about the current exhibit of his work as a fashion illustrator that is currently up at the Denver Art Museum. Hosted by CULTUREHAUS, the group met for a drink at nearby Cap City and headed over to the museum after hours.
