Join us to celebrate the installation of a new piece in BMoCA’s InsideOut exhibition space located on the northwest corner outside BMoCA. Colorado Springs’ artist Pard Morrison will be on hand to talk about the new work he created entitled, Heartmouth, which was commissioned specifically for the InsideOut space.
Born in 1975, Pard Morrison currently lives and works in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts with an emphasis in sculpture. His work is recognized internationally and is currently shown in various collections such as The Lannan Foundation, The Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation, and The American Embassy in the Hague to name a few. Morrison’s work is also displayed in multiple public and private collections.
Launched in 2016, BMoCA InsideOut is a new exhibition platform located on the northwest corner outside of BMoCA. A site for temporary artistic intervention and public discourse, BMoCA InsideOut will feature rotating commissions from local and international artists who push the boundaries of public art. The temporary installations enliven the Civic Area by sparking dialog between the community, artist, and museum about art and topics relevant to today.
